The Challenge
Large company with multi-location facilities can have hundreds of individual Split and Window AC units operating independently.
Maintaining comfort while avoiding unnecessary cooling can be difficult when each unit is manually controlled. A centralized wired control system can also require substantial infrastructure changes.
The objective was to create a wireless way to bring distributed AC units onto a common network and optimize their temperature settings.
Our Solution
E4A implemented a wireless solution connecting approximately 150 Split and Window AC units to a common network.
The system enables centralized control of AC temperature settings, allowing operating temperatures to be managed more consistently across the facility.

Why This Matters
This project demonstrates an important E4A principle: You don't always need to replace existing equipment to make it smarter.
Existing Split and Window ACs can become part of a connected energy-management ecosystem through an appropriate wireless IoT layer.
What it demonstrates: Wireless IoT can bring centralized intelligence to large numbers of existing devices without requiring replacement of the underlying equipment.
